No, absolutely not! The application uses the same technique and adhesive as orthodontic braces. No drilling or tooth preparation is necessary. The gem can be removed at any time without leaving traces or damaging the tooth enamel.

How long does a tooth gem last? +

A properly applied tooth gem can last from 6 months to several years depending on your oral hygiene and eating habits. On average, our customers keep their tooth gem for 1 to 2 years.

Can you eat and drink normally with a tooth gem? +

Yes, absolutely! Once the gem is applied (wait 24 hours for complete adhesive curing), you can eat, drink, brush your teeth and floss normally. Simply avoid biting directly into very hard foods with the decorated tooth.

Who can apply tooth gems? +

Application can be performed by dentists, trained beauticians, or dental technicians. We offer certified training courses (online or in-person) that allow you to master the technique in one day. Over 500 professionals have been trained by Strass Dentaires.

Is training mandatory? +

While not legally regulated, training is highly recommended to ensure safe and durable application. Our training includes theory, hands-on practice with training jaws, and an official certificate. You also receive a complete kit to start your business.

Do you deliver to Belgium and Switzerland? +

Yes! We deliver throughout France, Belgium, Switzerland and all of Europe. Delivery is fast (24-72 hours depending on destination) and carefully handled. Shipping is free for orders over €80.

How do you remove a tooth gem? +

Removal is simple and painless. A professional uses special pliers to gently detach the gem, then lightly polishes the tooth to remove adhesive residue. The procedure takes less than 5 minutes and the tooth returns to its original state.
