Terms and Conditions of Sale

In force as of 27 September 2026. Version 1.2. Translation provided for information: in the event of any discrepancy, the French version shall prevail.

Article 1 - Identity of the Seller

The website www.strassdentaires.com is published and operated by:
Christian Douchamps, self-employed entrepreneur
7080 La Bouverie, Belgium
Company number (BCE): 0659.517.450
Email: info@strassdentaires.com
Phone: +32 475 55 85 58 (Belgium) - +33 1 89 311 412 (France)

Hereinafter "the Seller". Any person placing an order on the website is hereinafter referred to as "the Customer".

Article 2 - Scope

These terms govern every sale concluded on the website www.strassdentaires.com, including through the app. They prevail over any purchasing terms of the Customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Seller.

The products sold are intended for professional use by practitioners trained in the application of tooth gems and dental jewellery. By placing an order, the professional Customer declares that they have the skills and, where applicable, the authorisations required by the regulations of their country to carry out this activity.

The Customer declares that they have read and accepted these terms before confirming their order.

Article 3 - Products

The products are presented as accurately as possible. Photographs and descriptions are not contractually binding as regards colour shades and the reflections of the stones, which may vary slightly from one batch to another and depending on the screen used.

Offers are valid while stocks last. If a product becomes unavailable after the order has been placed, the Seller informs the Customer without delay and offers the Customer the choice between waiting for restocking and a refund of the item concerned.

Article 4 - Prices

Prices are expressed in euros. The Seller is subject to the special exemption scheme for small businesses (article 56bis of the Belgian VAT Code). VAT is therefore not applicable and is not invoiced. The prices displayed are the final prices payable, excluding delivery costs.

Delivery costs are shown before the order is confirmed and depend on the destination and on the carrier chosen.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties or import taxes may be charged on arrival. They are borne exclusively by the Customer.

The Seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the prices in force when the order is recorded.

Article 5 - Orders

The order is recorded when the Customer confirms their basket and proceeds to payment. A confirmation email summarising the order is sent to them.

The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order from a Customer with whom there is a dispute concerning the payment of a previous order, or any order of an abnormal nature.

Article 6 - Payment

Payment is made by bank card, by PayPal or by bank transfer. No additional fee is charged on account of the payment method chosen.

Card payments are processed by an approved payment service provider. The Seller never has access to the Customer's card details.

For payment by bank transfer, the order is prepared once the funds have actually been received. An order for which the transfer is not received within seven calendar days may be cancelled.

Article 7 - Delivery

Products are shipped from Belgium to Belgium, Luxembourg, mainland France, the French overseas departments and territories (DOM-TOM) and the European Union.

The delivery times given on the "Shipping and Returns" page are indicative and run from dispatch. A late delivery cannot give rise to cancellation of the order or to compensation, except where the Seller is at fault.

The Customer must check the condition of the parcel on receipt. Any visible damage must be reported to the carrier and to the Seller as soon as possible, with supporting photographs.

If a parcel cannot be delivered and is returned because the Customer did not collect it, the cost of re-shipping is borne by the Customer.

Article 8 - Right of withdrawal

Consumer Customer. A Customer acting for purposes outside their professional activity has fourteen calendar days from receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons or pay any penalty, in accordance with articles VI.47 et seq. of the Belgian Code of Economic Law. They inform the Seller of their decision by email to info@strassdentaires.com before this period expires.

In accordance with article VI.53, 13° of the Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (video training, downloadable training manual) where performance has begun after the consumer has given their prior express consent to performance beginning during the withdrawal period, has acknowledged that they would thereby lose their right of withdrawal, and the Seller has provided them with the confirmation required by article VI.46, § 7.

Professional Customer. The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to sales between professionals. The Seller nevertheless grants, by contract, the right of return set out in article 9 below.

The cost of returning the products is borne by the Customer. Products must be returned complete, in their original packaging, in perfect condition for resale.

Article 9 - Returns and refunds

The Seller grants all its Customers, consumers and professionals alike, an extended right of return of thirty calendar days from receipt of the physical products.

To return an order:

  1. send a request by email to info@strassdentaires.com stating the order number;
  2. repack the products in their original packaging, not applied and not used;
  3. send the parcel back marked "Returned goods", preferably by tracked delivery.

The refund is made within fourteen days of receipt and inspection of the returned products, using the same payment method as the one used for the order.

The Seller favours exchanges whenever possible: if a reference, shade or size is not suitable, the Customer simply needs to say so and a replacement will be agreed.

However, any product that has been applied, tried in the mouth or put in contact with the oral mucosa can be neither taken back nor exchanged, whether on the Customer themselves or on one of their own clients. The same applies to opened consumables (adhesives, resins, etching products). This exclusion is based on hygiene and health safety: such a product can no longer be put back on sale. It complies with article VI.53, 5° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, which excludes the right of withdrawal for sealed goods that cannot be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene.

Digital content. The video training and the downloadable training manual are digital content: they are neither taken back nor refunded once access has been opened, subject, for the consumer Customer, to the conditions set out in article 8.

Article 10 - Warranty

All products benefit from the statutory warranty of conformity provided for by Belgian law, for a period of two years from delivery for the consumer Customer.

Any product that arrives broken or not in conformity must be reported to the Seller, with supporting photographs, as soon as possible after receipt. The Seller then, at its choice, replaces or refunds the product concerned.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from an application that does not follow the instructions, from inappropriate use or from a modification of the product.

Article 11 - Liability

The products are intended to be applied by a trained professional. The Seller cannot be held liable for the consequences of an application carried out by an untrained person, of failure to follow the instructions for use, or of the use of third-party products together with its own.

The Seller's liability may not exceed the amount of the order concerned. This paragraph does not limit the Seller's liability in the event of fraud, gross negligence, or harm to life or physical integrity.

Article 12 - Personal data

The data provided by the Customer are processed in accordance with the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms. The Customer has a right of access, rectification, erasure and objection, which they may exercise at info@strassdentaires.com.

Article 13 - Intellectual property

All elements of the website - texts, photographs, visuals, logos - are protected and remain the property of the Seller. Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without prior written authorisation.

Article 14 - Settlement of disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law.

In the event of any difficulty, the Customer is invited to contact the Seller at info@strassdentaires.com in order to seek an amicable solution.

The consumer Customer may also refer the matter to the Consumer Mediation Service (Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 bte 1, 1000 Brussels - www.mediationconsommateur.be).

Failing an amicable solution, the courts of the judicial district of Hainaut have sole jurisdiction.
